The Faculty of Social Sciences DataLab (SAMF Data Lab) supports all faculty researchers who are interested in data science, digital methods, data management, and risk assessments related to a research environment.
SAMF Data Lab is closing, and we want to inform researchers of relevant dates and deadlines. Thank you to everyone we’ve worked with for your interest, collaborations, questions, attendance, and any other way we’ve interacted to support you, the researchers.
February 14th 2025 will be the last day for new data management support requests (storage, anonymization, contracts, forms, planning, bureaucracy, GDPR, etc).
April 30th 2025 will be the last day for requests relating to data science and digital methods (coding, data collection, data scraping, analytics, etc).
We will provide more information in February about the support structures and appropriate contacts in new administration to go to for support and questions. If you think you might want assistance from us, I encourage you to contact us before the deadlines listed above.
